Nothing wrong with it?!

It doesn’t even have wheels and tires! Let alone the missing hood!

I’ve been working on steel for storage space since last week. Got to be able to have all the bad ideas under cover.

I’m now certain you guys on the eastern seaboard have better access to un-fucked with, cheap old project cars. Most of the cars out here are incomplete, “partially restored”, or done already and all are overpriced. Less rust is my only advantage.

I’m as surprised by that as you. If you’re willing to do *some* rust, the fantabulous mystical wonders that can be found if you just wait around seem to be unending. In short, the most amazing cars in shit-ass condition - which the guys on the west coast have driven down the cost of spares and fixit pieces for.

This is true. I don’t know where I’d park a Galaxie at this point. The Fairlane barely fit in front of my Vanagon at home, a Galaxie would be 2 feet into the street. I should probably just get rid of the van, I’m attached to it, but my interests have changed. Galaxie>clapped out Vanagon anyway. Holds the same number of people too.

Then again, I suspect you don’t have the same levels of rain and humidity as my town. Not half an hour away is one of the driest towns in the whole region (due to mountain-related cloud-eliminating fluke), but we get something like >50" a year where I am.

Just enough salt on the roads too that I have to travel a ways to find anything really epic.

Yeah, you get more or less 4 times what we do, on average. Technically this is a coastal desert. Good for cars, bad for green stuff.
